MY PINK DIARY

The heartwarming note I received from my family!  I am so touched!

The Pink Diary that I got from my family as gift for my school performance this year!  Yehey!

I've always wanted a Diary but never had one.  My father gave me a simple white notebook he found at Booksale which I later converted to a Diary notebook.  It was so simple and plain that I've given it up and decided not to use it.

To cap the school year, I decided to ask for my Dad for a diary as a gift.  My parents are always proud of what I have accomplished at school - my 2nd runner-up finish at Little Miss Intramurals, landing Top 8 then Top 10 of my class, winning 2nd runner up at Dance Kidz and others.

I pleaded for a Diary as a reward to myself and viola, I got what I want!

Thank you Dada, Mama and Makee!  I love you all!

SHOWGIRLS

Mandela, Charice and Sofia.  We call ourselves SHOW GIRLS.

It was the name we label our group when we participated the Dance Kidz Showdown contest during the 2017 Foundation Day of San Roque College de Cebu.   Sofia taught us the dance routine which is a medley of current pop/dance music.  Charice was in-charge of our customized printed shirt, while my Mama is in-charge of make up, making sure we live up to our names as Showgirls.

We were happy that we passed the audition.  Our happiness doubled when we won 2nd runner up during the actual event.  Congratulations to us beautiful Showgirls!

WHY WE LOVE ICE CREAM

We love ice cream because it is a yummy cold treat.   May it be plain vanilla ice cream or the one that comes with flavor of varied choices, may it be simple or the one with chocolate syrup coating, sprinkles topping and others.  Whatever flavor or variety, for us ice cream is pure heaven.

That is why a trip to SM, Gaisano Mall, 7Eleven, or any grocery store is never complete without trying ice cream.  Dada and Mama knew that ice cream is our favorite, reason why a simple please and Makena's uttering of "pretty pretty PLEASE" would eventually let them gave in and say YES.

Enjoying ice cream at Gaisano Grand Mall Basak! Makee was so esctatic when photographed with ice cream!

She simply loves her ice cream!
This yummy treat made me smile!
I don't care how I look like for as long as I enjoyed my ice cream!

Wanna try?

Don's mess with me, I'm enjoying my ice cream!
Makee: I want more!

This Japanese ice cream fascinates me!

MY FIRST COMMUNION

With my bestfriend, Charice Inoc! Look how tall she is!
I am thankful that I am officially a Christian.

This is because I am already done with my First Communion.
It was held at San Roque Parish in Cordova, Cebu.  It was a solemn ceremony because the Holy Mass was exclusively for the students of San Roque.

I am very happy because my Dada took her leave from work to join Mama to witness the start of my journey in faith.
This is me during the Processional when I entered the church at the start of the Holy Mass!

SCHOOL HOPPING

At 8, I'm proud to say that I have tried at least 5 schools, 3 of which are schools located in Toledo City, Cebu.

On April 2013, my family relocated to Toledo City due to the work assignment of my father.  He was assigned as Bank Manager of RCBC Toledo Branch and Balamban Branch.  It was hard relocating, bringing all our things from Pilipog, Cordova and settle to an unknown place, but my father decided to accept the offer because it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for career growth,

On June 2013, I was enrolled Kinder 1 at Consolatrix College of Toledo City or CCTC.  It was the oldest school in Toledo City and ran by Recollect Sisters.  The school is just walking distance from our cozy apartment.  Sometimes, Dada and I just walk ourselves in going to school.  My most memorable experience at Consolatrix is when I was crowned Princess Tiana The Frog Princess during one of the school's event.  It was fun!

The following year, June 2014, I was enrolled as Grade 1 at Dela Salle Andres Soriano Memorial College, a school district under Dela Salle Greenhils located inside the Carmen Copper Corporation compound.  This is because my mother was accepted as Filipino teacher at Dela Salle Andres Soriano Memorial College.

From Toledo City proper, we were forced to move to DAS or Lutopan where the school is situated.  We were lucky to be provided by the school with a free housing located inside the school compound.  That means we were able to save on housing rental costs.  The place is called ACRA, it is a village where selected teachers of La Salle lives.  For us to reach our houses we have to climb by foot using the foot ladder which is several steps away.  It was a torture specially if one is bringing heavy school bags.

The following year, Mama decided to gave up her teaching post at La Salle.  We returned to Toledo City proper and lived in an apartment near the Boulevard.  This time, I am grade 2 and my parents decided to enroll me to another school, Leaton School.  Dada and Mama's friend Judge Pescaderos son, Brinx is enrolled at Leaton.  Hearing good things about Leaton, they decided to try the school.

However, Dada had another job offer at another bank - Asia United Bank.  The final offer came in August 2015.  It was a job offer that is hard to resist, so Dada resigned from RCBC.  It was September 2015 and Dada and Mama were having hard time looking for a school that would accept transferees in the middle of the school year.  Thank God for Dada's friend, Uncle Michael who helped arranged for my transfer to Bethel Kiddie Development Center.  The school is a non-Catholic learning institution ran by the Bethel Church.  I finished my Grace 2 at Bethel.

The following school year, my parents decided to enroll me at San Roque College de Cebu Inc.  My father is familiar with the school and is ok with the quality.  Hopefully this will be my last school.  My sister is also enrolled in the same school.

This explains why I titled my post SCHOOL HOPPING.  Because I literally hopped from one school to the other.

CUTENESS OVERLOAD

Isn't she is adorable?

I cannot help but share my little sister's cuteness overload.  This is my Dada's favorite photo of my little sister.  This was taken at the Water Reservoir at the ACRA Village inside the Carmen Copper Corp compound.  We lived there for almost a year.  This was taken using my Dada's iphone.

She is cuteness personified.

BIKING IS HAPPINESS

Biking is Fun.  Specially if you are doing it with the people you love.  Makena and I loves biking.  It is our bonding moment together.  We have been pleading Dada and Mama to buy us bikes but it took a while before they bought us obviously because bikes are expensive.

When the time came when they brought us bikes, we are the happiest creatures on earth! The long wait is over!  We cannot contain our happiness and excitement to use the bikes at Ajoya, the new place were living.
Ajoya is such an ideal place to bike - the road is wide, there are less cars passing, and there are several people living in the subdivision thus it is safe to bike.

Thank you Dada and Mama for the bikes.  We are happy that you grant us our desires.  We love you!
